Conformance status

This site partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

"Partially" is deliberate and it is not modesty. A full conformance claim is one an inspector can disprove with a single finding, and this site has not yet completed the manual audit that a full claim would require. The exceptions are listed below, by name, with what we are doing about each.

The site is built to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which adds criteria that are not yet legally required in Croatia - focus not obscured, target size, consistent help, redundant entry, accessible authentication. The harmonised standard today is EN 301 549 v3.2.1, which references WCAG 2.1 AA. Version 4.1.1, incorporating WCAG 2.2, is expected during 2026.

What has been done

Every page is a single <main> landmark reached by a skip link, with one h1 and a heading outline that never skips a level. The build fails if a page emits zero or two h1 elements.
Every image carries alt text. The build fails on an image without it - this is enforced in the content pipeline, not left to the author's memory.
Both languages are marked up with lang attributes, and the language toggle marks each option with its own lang so a screen reader pronounces "HR" in Croatian.
The chat dialog has a focus trap, returns focus to the control that opened it, closes on Escape, and announces new messages politely.
The site loads no third-party resources at all, so no external widget can introduce a barrier we did not write.
Colour is never the only means of conveying information.

Known exceptions

These are the things a full conformance claim would be wrong about today:

No screen-reader audit has been completed. Automated testing reaches roughly a third of WCAG. The remaining criteria are judged by hand, and that pass - keyboard-only traversal of every page, an NVDA pass, 320 px reflow and 400 % zoom - is scheduled but not finished. Until it is, individual criteria under 1.3, 2.4 and 4.1 are untested rather than confirmed.
Contrast has not been measured across every state. Base palette contrast is designed to pass, but hover, focus and disabled states have not each been measured.
The blog is newly built and its typography has not yet been through the same review as the rest of the site.

None of these is a reason to wait before telling you about them. If you hit a barrier, the fastest fix is to tell us - see below.

If a fix will take longer, we will say so and offer the information or service another way in the meantime.

Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our response, market surveillance for e-commerce services under the Croatian Accessibility Act (NN 89/2025) is carried out by market inspectors of the Državni inspektorat (Art. 25(9)).
